🌱 Morada Bonita THCV = Granddaddy Purple ♀ x Negra Bonita THCV ♂

Granddaddy Purple (or GDP) is a famous indica cross between Purple Urkle and Big Bud. This California staple inherits a complex grape and berry aroma from its Purple Urkle parent, while Big Bud passes on its oversized, compact bud structure. GDP flowers bloom in shades of deep purple.

Negra Bonita is a THCV rich strain of unknown origin. Ricky, the former organizer of the Santa Cruz Cup, was given the seeds from a friend working in genetics procurement for a large corporate cultivator. Some samples showed THCV at over 7%. No information related to who the breeder was or the parental lineage accompanied the seeds.

BTW, celebrating the plant in the way we used to at events like the Santa Cruz Cup will always be fond memories!
