1971 Jamaican is a sativa from Jamaica sprouted from an old batch of seeds, whereby only one seed survived. It is from an early era in Jamaican cannabis strains before influence from Amsterdam seedbanks in the 1980's. It is earthy and funky foul smelling with narrow long colas of medium dense, frosty flower.

Skunk #1  is a legendary sativa dominant strain originally bred in Santa Cruz, CA and later brought to Amsterdam, Netherlands in the mid-1980's where its popularity exploded. Its uniform structure and vigorous growth made it an easy choice for breeders looking to create new lines. It is a foundational building block of many of today's varieties.
