Jamaican Maui

1971 Jamaican is a sativa from Jamaica sprouted from an old batch of seeds, whereby only one seed survived. It is from an early era in Jamaican cannabis strains before influence from Amsterdam seedbanks in the 1980's.

1979 "Cherry Bomb" Maui Wowie is a Sativa heirloom from Maui, Hawaii. The parent strains of the Cherry Bomb Maui Wowie were brought to Hawaii by the Brotherhood of Eternal Love, who were active in the acquisition of cannabis and it's seeds from locations across the globe during the 1970's. It is likely the result of breeding a 1970’s Oaxacan, a 1970's Mexican and a 1970's Afghani. The late Mr Greengenes is credited for preserving this variety over many decades, and during that time he selected for high potency and a metallic cherry flavor profile.
