Kauai Electric is a legendary indica dominant variety from the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. It gets its name from the are of the island it was grown on. People grew Kauai Electric high up on the ancient volcano along the power lines because the clearing for the lines offered sunlight for growing plants. Shorter plants were selected for their enhanced ability to stay hidden from view.
