Anderson Valley Heirloom Early Girl Collection

Anderson Valley Heirloom Early Girl F1 Hybrids

Originally bred by clandestine growers in California during the 1970’s, and further popularized by breeder Neville Schoenmakers in the 1980’s, Early Girl is one of California’s first stabilized cannabis varieties. Mexican cultivators have also grown their own acclimatized adaptations of this variety extensively since the 1980’s. Many versions exist of the Early Girl, a 50/50 indica/sativa Afghani and North Indian hybrid. Nearly all have very short flowering times, short height, and chunky, resinous, blunt spear shaped buds. The Early Girl used in the following crosses is from heirloom seed stock originally sourced in the 1980’s and selectively bred for early finishing and quality phenotypes in the Anderson Valley of Mendocino County, California. Those growing this strain may find delight in knowing they are sharing in a legacy spanning across decades of California cannabis cultivation.
